Sleeping
Sleeping is important. When you sleep you dream. Some dreams are good some are bad others are in between. Only a few people can’t dream like me, when I sleep I just close my eyes and stare at darkness for a few seconds then I wake up to morning. Sleeping is a vital action.
People sleep sometimes to solve problems that we can’t solve while we are awake. Sometimes when we are told a riddle we may spend an entire day trying to solve it but cant, when we sleep there is less our mind is doing and focusing on so it can divert more energy into solving it. It can also help us remember things that we forget like what was or who was or something like that.
Sleeping can also be a way to escape real life because it is a way to skip great amounts of time while feeling only a short amount of time. Hospitals sometimes use sleeping to help people who have a very serious wound so they don’t feel the pain of the wound. There is a special dead like state of sleeping called hibernation, when a creature hibernates its heart rate lowers greatly and its breathing lowers drastically.
Some of the animal kingdom will use hibernation to survive long cold winters. Take the bear for example it spends its spring, summer, and fall collecting food and getting fat to sleep all through winter. Without sleep survival would be impossible.
